Description
α-Cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (HCCA or CHCA) is a widely used as matrix for proteomic samples to support ionization in matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS). It enables highly sensitive measurements of peptides and proteins from approx. 0.7 to 20 kDa.
