Description
Sinapinic acid is a commonly used matrix in matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) for a wide variety of peptides and proteins. It is the preferred choice for the analysis of large proteins and some polar polymers. Sinapinic acid is also suitable for the generation of in source decay (ISD) spectra of intact proteins.
