MLCT-SPH-5UM-DC
Description
This is a low thermal sensitivity version of the MLCT-SPH probes. These “drift compensated” probes have a small laser reflecting gold pad constrained to the distal end of the cantilever, greatly reducing cantilever bending changes with temperature. A novel probe for BioAFM to address life science microrheology applications and quantitative nanomechanical mapping of living cells, tissues, hydrogels and more. Bruker has introduced a sphere tip version of our popular MLCT probes. A ~20um tall, cylindrical tip shank with a large 5 um spherical tip. This probe replaces the need for construction of colloidal probes using tipless cantilevers beads and glue! The microcantilever array provides a range of spring constants - each of which is individually Laser Doppler Vibrometer calibrated for the best accuracy! - so you can match to that which is best suited to your sample.
