Deuterated pyridine is an organic compound with the formula C5D5N. It is weakly miscible with water and has a distinctive unpleasant odor. It has a density of 0.89 g/cm3 (20 oC).
The 1H-NMR spectrum of deuterated pyridine contains three singlets at 7.22, 7.58 and 8.74 ppm (vs. TMSP). The water resonance is typically at 5 ppm. The 13C NMR spectrum gives rise to triplets at 123.87, 135.91 and 150.35 ppm.
Cambridge Isotope Laboratories (CIL) is pleased to offer highly enriched and pure deuterated THF for use with high-field, NMR spectroscopy These products are carefully manufactured and packaged so that the introduction of any impurity, including paramagnetic impurities, such as dissolved O2(g), into the product is minimized.
