Description
Super sharp probe for highest resolution imaging at high scan speeds, optimized for PeakForce Tapping operation in air and fluid at high scan speeds. Recommended for use with Bruker Dimension FastScan AFM. These probes are FASTSCAN-D but with additional tip processing to create tip radii of ~1nm for ultimate resolution! This probe combines a tip with 1nm nominal end radius, moderate 0.25 N/m spring constant, and high resonance frequency of 110kHz in air to provide reliable highest resolution imaging at high imaging rates with up to 8kHz PeakForce Tapping actuation. FASTSCAN-D-SS probes deliver extreme imaging speed in fluid without loss of resolution or force control! Designed specifically for use with the Dimension FastScan AFM and NanoWizard AFM line but can be used on other high speed AFM systems. FASTSCAN-D-SS probes use a very short ~17um paddle shaped SiN lever with a high 110kHz in fluid frequency and a very low 0.25N/m spring constant meaning compatibility with the very softest sample types in fluid. A 5nm tip radius is optimally balanced for great resolution and longevity.
